# O.C.G.A. § 35-3-201. Creation; purpose.

There is established the Georgia Information Sharing and Analysis Center as a distinct division within the bureau. The center shall be a fusion center maintaining criminal intelligence and terrorism analytical components. The officer or agent charged with operating the center shall report directly to the director.

## Amendments

The 2025 amendment, effective July 1, 2025, part of an Act to revise, modernize, and correct the Code, substituted “bureau” for “Georgia Bureau of Investigation” in the first sentence.
