# O.C.G.A. § 35-5-3. Assignment to department for administrative purposes; authorization to solicit and accept gifts, grants, donations, property, and services.

(a) The Georgia Public Safety Training Center is assigned to the department for administrative purposes only as prescribed in Code Section 50-4-3.

(b) The board is authorized to solicit and accept gifts, grants, donations, property, both real and personal, and services for the purpose of carrying out this chapter.

## Amendments

The 2025 amendment, effective July 1, 2025, part of an Act to revise, modernize, and correct the Code, substituted “Georgia Public Safety Training Center” for “center” and “department” for “Department of Public Safety” in subsection (a).
