36-32-5. Sentences and fines which may be imposed.

All municipal courts having authority to try offenses against the laws of the municipal corporations in which such courts are located shall have the power and authority:
- (1)
To impose fines upon persons convicted of such offenses, with the alternative of other punishment allowed by law, in the event that such fines are not paid;#
- (2)
To sentence such person to community service work; or#
- (3)
To impose a sentence consisting of any combination of the penalties provided for in this Code section.#
