Use of National Guard as honor guards for veterans’ funerals. Subject to the appropriation by the General Assembly of funds for such purpose, the Governor may authorize or direct Georgia National Guard personnel to serve while on state active duty as honor guard detail for veterans’ funerals on appropriate occasions.
