Investigations and surveys; subpoena power; cooperation. For the purpose of making surveys and investigations and obtaining information, except the investigation of subversive activities that are the responsibility of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Governor may compel by subpoena the attendance of witnesses and the production of books, papers, records, and documents of individuals, firms, associations, and corporations. All officers, boards, commissions, and departments of the state and the political subdivisions thereof having information with respect thereto shall cooperate with and assist him in making the investigations and surveys. ## History Ga.
