# O.C.G.A. § 40-5-28.1. Use of social security numbers.

No license or permit issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2007, pursuant to this article shall contain the social security number of the licensee or permit holder.

This Code section became effective July 1, 1997, and is applicable to licenses, permits, and identification cards issued on or after that date.
