Ga. L. 2007, p. 214, § 4/HB 144, not codified by the General Assembly, provides, in part, that prosecutions for or cases involving any violation of law occurring prior to July 1, 2007, shall not be affected by the repeals or amendments made by that Act or abated by reason thereof.
