43-18-3. Practicing without complying with article.

- (a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the practice of embalming or to represent to the public that such person is an embalmer, mortician, or undertaker without first complying with this article.#
- (b)
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business or profession of funeral directing or to represent to the public that such person is a funeral director, undertaker, or mortician without first complying with this article.#
- (c)
Any person who actively engages or participates in any way in the business or profession of funeral directing shall be considered to be practicing as a funeral director and must be a licensed funeral director under the terms of this article.#
