Purpose of chapter. This chapter is enacted in the exercise of the police powers of the state. Its purposes generally are to protect the public health, welfare, and safety by providing for the regulation of the sale, dispensing, and supplying of all ophthalmic appliances, eyeglasses, and all aids to human vision. ## History Ga.
