Penalty. Any person who violates this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined no less than $100.00 nor more than $1,000.00 and may be imprisoned for a term not to exceed 12 months for such violation. ## History Ga. The 2019 amendment, effective April 23, 2019, substituted ‘‘this article’’ for ‘‘this chapter’’ near the beginning of this Code section.
