43-45-13. Restrictions on advertising.

- (a)
No licensee or business entity represented by the licensee shall advertise or in any way use the words ‘‘bond’’ or ‘‘bonded’’ in any manner in connection with his pest control business operations unless the licensee or business entity shall have an instrument then in force, or that is available to each customer, that comes within the definition of a bond as defined in Code Section 43-45-2. Each licensee shall submit proof of such instrument to the commission.#
- (b)
Any person who shall claim that inspections or permits, or both, are required, authorized, or endorsed by the commission or any agency of the state or federal government shall be guilty of a violation of this chapter. No reference shall be made by any licensee in any form of advertising that would indicate the approval, endorsement, or recommendation of the commission or any agency of the state or federal government.#
