Limitation on security deposit. No landlord shall demand or receive a security deposit in an amount that exceeds the equivalent of two months’ rent. ## History Code 1981, § 44-7-30.1, enacted by Ga. L. 2024, p. 91, § 1/HB 404, not codified by the General Assembly, provides: “This Act shall be known and may be cited as the ‘Safe at Home Act.’” Ga.
