Calling out militia for defense of state in case of invasion or insurrection. In case of invasion or insurrection, the Governor may call out the state militia for the defense of the state until such time as the General Assembly shall meet; and, when he takes such action, he shall have power to make all necessary provision for their transportation, accommodation, equipment, and support. ## History Orig.
