Ga. L. 2024, p. 922, § 9-1/SB 341, reserved the designation of this article, effective May 6, 2024. Ga. L. 2024, p. 922, § 9-2/SB 341, not codified by the General Assembly, provides: “Any assets of the Georgia World War I Centennial Commission existing as of June 30, 2024, shall devolve by operation of law and without further action to the State of Georgia on July 1, 2024. Any liabilities and obligations of the Georgia World War I Centennial Commission existing as of June 30, 2024, shall be transferred and assumed by the State of Georgia, by such instruments as may be required to maintain the same.”
