45-2-20. ‘‘Armed conflict’’ defined.

  1. As used in this article, the term ‘‘armed conflict’’ means armed military intervention beyond the limits of the United States, as well as any confrontation of the armed forces of the United States with foreign nationals in which actual hostilities erupt.
