45-7-2. Compensation of state official for serving in ex officio position.

  1. No state official who receives, as a part of his compensation, pay for service on an ex officio office or position held by such officer shall receive any compensation for such service in any such ex officio office created subsequent to May 1, 1963, unless the statute creating the ex officio office shall specifically provide for compensation for the ex officio officer.
