Effect of filing of statement of intent to dissolve. Upon the filing by the Secretary of State of a statement of intent to dissolve, the electric membership corporation shall cease to carry on its business, except insofar as may be necessary or appropriate for the winding up thereof; but its corporate existence shall continue until the time provided in subsection (g) of Code Section 46-3-428. ## History Code 1933, § 34C-1203, enacted by Ga.
