Election committee members. (a) Each political subdivision contracting with the authority for all or a substantial portion of its gas supply (other than short-term purchases) following the election of the first nine members of the authority shall designate a representative to the election committee no more than 30 days following the execution of such contract by and between the authority and such political subdivision. The term of such additional representative shall begin with the next meeting of the election committee. (b) Representatives to the election committee shall serve at the pleasure of the governing body of the political subdivision which appointed them. ## History Code 1981, § 46-4-86, enacted by Ga.
