Physical examination of applicant. With respect to applicants for any category of public assistance authorized under Code Section 49-4-3, the department may require physical examinations of any applicant and may require the results thereof to be recorded by the examining physician on a form furnished by the department. Upon receipt of the form from the examining physician, the county department shall forward it to the department, whose duty it shall be to review the medical information contained thereon and determine therefrom whether the applicant meets the medical requirements for assistance under this article. When said decision has been made by the department, the county department will be notified and bound thereby. ## History Ga. L. 1965, p. 385, § 18.
