Department of Administrative Services to establish and maintain inventory; state employees to furnish information; inspection and copies of records. (a) It shall be the duty of the Department of Administrative Services to establish and maintain an accurate central inventory of movable personal property owned by the state and any offices, agencies, departments, boards, bureaus, commissions, institutions, authorities, or other entities of the state; and it shall be the duty of each officer and employee thereof to furnish the Department of Administrative Services full information for such inventory and otherwise assist it in establishing and maintaining the inventory. (b) The inventory shall be maintained on a current basis; and state officers and employees shall furnish the Department of Administrative Services such information as may be required by it to keep the inventory current. (c) The inventory records shall be available for inspection at all times during normal working hours; and copies of the inventory records or any part thereof shall be provided to the Governor and the General Assembly, or committees thereof, upon request. ## History Code 1933, § 91-801a, enacted by Ga.
