Authority for Governor to purchase property at sheriff’s sale under execution in favor of state. At all sheriff’s sales under any execution in favor of the state or the Governor, the Governor, or anyone authorized by him, may purchase the property so sold, provided that in no case shall more be bid for such property than the amount due the state upon the execution. ## History Ga.
