State officer not to receive commission, interest, compensation, or reward for depositing state money. No officer of this state shall be allowed to receive any commission, interest, compensation, or reward for himself from any source for the depositing of the state’s money in depositories or for continuing such deposits. Any officer of this state who receives any such commission, interest, compensation, or reward for himself shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by imprisonment for not less than seven nor more than 20 years and shall be disqualified to hold office. ## History Ga.
