Contractor to give bond. The person to whom the contract is awarded shall give bond with adequate and satisfactory security in the sum of not less than $25,000.00, to be payable to the Governor and his successors in office and to be conditioned that the contractor will perform his duties promptly and faithfully under the contract and carry out all provisions of law so far as they relate to the duties arising from the contract.
