Various state entities authorized to purchase, lease, or accept automobiles; Office of Planning and Budget rules to govern operation, maintenance, use, service, and repair. The various offices, agencies, departments, boards, bureaus, commissions, institutions, authorities, or other entities of the state are authorized, subject to the approval of the Office of Planning and Budget consistent with legislative appropriations, to purchase, lease, or accept as donations passenger-carrying automobiles and other motor vehicles for the use of officers, officials, and employees in the performance of their official duties. The operation, use, maintenance, service, and repair of passenger-carrying automobiles shall be governed by the rules and regulations promulgated by the Office of Planning and Budget pursuant to Code Section 45-12-73. ## History Ga.
