50-23-13. Liberal construction; bonds exempt from securities law; necessity of notice, proceeding, or publication; referendums.

  1. The provisions of this article shall be liberally construed to effect the purposes of this article. The offer, sale, or issuance of bonds, notes, or other obligations by the authority shall not be subject to regulation under Chapter 5 of Title 10, known as the ‘‘Georgia Uniform Securities Act of 2008.’’ No notice, proceeding, or publication except those required in this article shall be necessary to the performance of any act authorized in this article; nor shall any such act be subject to referendum.
