50-3-2. Pledge of allegiance to state flag.

The following is adopted as the pledge of allegiance to the state flag: “I pledge allegiance to the Georgia flag and to the principles for which it stands: Wisdom, Justice, Moderation, and Courage.”

Ga. L. 1951, p. 311, § 47; Ga. L. 1955, p. 10, § 94; Ga. L. 2022, p. 377, § 1/SB 152. The 2022 amendment, effective July 1, 2022, substituted “Moderation, and Courage” for “and Moderation”.
