50-5-1. Department created; appointment of commissioner.

  1. There is created a Department of Administrative Services. The department head is the commissioner. The commissioner shall be appointed by the Governor by and with the advice and consent of the Senate. The commissioner shall serve at the pleasure of the Governor and shall receive a salary to be set by the Governor.
