## Code Commission Notes

Pursuant to Code Section 28-9-5, in 2025, the amendment of this Code section by Ga. L. 2025, p. 231, § 4-1/HB 233, was treated as impliedly repealed and superseded by Ga. L. 2025, p. 294, § 2/HB 113, due to irreconcilable conflict.

## Effective Date

This Code section became effective July 1, 2022.

The 2023 amendment, effective July 1, 2023, part of an Act to revise, modernize, and correct the Code, substituted “government” for “Government” in paragraph (a)(3).
