# O.C.G.A. § 53-2-9. Child born out of wedlock.

As used in this article, the term “child born out of wedlock” shall have the same meaning as set forth in Code Section 19-7-23.

Code 1981, § 53-2-9, enacted by Ga. L. 2025, p. 806, § 38/HB 327, effective July 1, 2025.

## Effective Date

This Code section became effective July 1, 2025.
