Applicability of provisions relating to sureties on guardians’ or conservators’ bonds. The provisions of law governing the situation in which the surety on a guardian’s or conservator’s bond dies, becomes insolvent, removes beyond the limits of this state, from other cause becomes insufficient, or desires to be relieved as surety shall be applicable to sureties on personal representatives’ bonds. ## History Code 1981, § 53-7-15, enacted by Ga. L. 1996, p. 504, § 10; Ga. L. 2020, p. 377, § 1-42/HB 865. The 2020 amendment, effective January 1, 2021, inserted ‘‘or conservator’s’’ in this Code section.
