Posting notice of intent to close banking location. Except in the case of an emergency closing, before a financial institution may close a banking location, it must post at such location in a conspicuous place at least 30 days in advance of such closing a notice of intent to close. Such notice must remain posted for at least 30 consecutive days. Customers of a banking location shall be considered to have received notice if the requirements of this Code section have been met. ## History Code 1981, § 7-1-110.1, enacted by Ga.
