Bonds and other obligations as legal investments and security. Bonds or other obligations issued by a housing authority in connection with a redevelopment project pursuant to this chapter, which bonds or obligations are secured by a contract with the federal government for financial assistance, shall be security for public deposits and legal investments to the same extent and for the same persons, institutions, associations, corporations, and other bodies and officers as bonds or other obligations which are secured by a contract with the federal government for annual contributions issued pursuant to Article 1 of Chapter 3 of this title, the “Housing Authorities Law,” in connection with the development of slum clearance or housing projects. ## History Ga.
