Const. Art. III, Sec. IV, Para. V. Vacancies. A constitution provision shown as in force is in force as printed in the volume. A court decision can make a printed provision unenforceable without changing the volume, and the volume does not record that. When a vacancy occurs in the General Assembly, it shall be filled as provided by this Constitution and by law. The seat of a member of either house shall be vacant upon the removal of such member’s legal residence from the district from which elected. ## Cross References Residence requirements of members, Ga.
