Not the State of Georgia. Not legal advice. --- # Help and contact Georgia Commons is free and run by a small team at Georgia Civic Data. Here is how to get help. Last updated: October 26, 2026. ## Contact us Email [shane@georgiacivicdata.org](mailto:shane@georgiacivicdata.org). We read every message and reply as soon as we can. To help us help you, include: - the page address, or the connector tool you were using; - what you asked or clicked, and what you expected; - what happened instead, with the exact error message if there was one; - for connector problems, which AI assistant and app you were using (for example, Claude on desktop or ChatGPT on mobile). Please do not send personal information about anyone else, or about a child. ## Using the MCP connector Connector address: https://mcp.georgiacommons.org/mcp. It needs no sign-in. Setup steps for each assistant are on the [connector page](https://georgiacommons.org/mcp). Common fixes: - **No results.** Try a broader search, or the words the document itself would use (a statute says "minor", not "kid"), or check the spelling of a citation, bill number, or name. - **A tool is missing.** Refresh the connector's tool list in your assistant's settings. - **A long document stops partway.** Long documents come back a part at a time, and each part ends with the call for the next one. Ask your assistant to continue. - **"Rate limit reached".** The connector limits how many requests one address can make in a minute and in an hour. The message says how many seconds to wait; after that, ask again. ## Report a problem with the information If something looks wrong, out of date, or missing, email us with the page or tool, what it says, and the official source you compared it with. Corrections help everyone. ## Privacy requests For questions about your information, see the [privacy policy](https://georgiacommons.org/privacy) or email [shane@georgiacivicdata.org](mailto:shane@georgiacivicdata.org). ## What this service does not do - It is not legal advice, and it is not affiliated with the State of Georgia, the General Assembly, or the courts. For a legal problem, talk to a lawyer. - It does not cover every Georgia document. Each collection's page says exactly what it holds: for example, Supreme Court of Georgia opinions from 2020 forward, and House and Senate meetings from 2026 that have a video. - A meeting transcript is a machine transcript, not an official record, and it does not name the speakers. The video is the record of what was said. ## Related pages [Terms of service](https://georgiacommons.org/terms), [privacy policy](https://georgiacommons.org/privacy), [about Georgia Commons](https://georgiacommons.org/about), and [connecting an AI assistant](https://georgiacommons.org/mcp).
