25 LC 62 0018/AP House Bill 380 (AS PASSED HOUSE AND SENATE) By: Representative Greene of the 154th A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To repeal an Act creating the Lower Chattahoochee Regional Airport Authority, approved1 May 5, 2006 (Ga. L. 2006, p. 4422), as amended, particularly by an Act approved May 28,2 2010 (Ga. L. 2010, p. 3570) and an Act approved April 11, 2012 (Ga. L. 2012, p. 5050); to3 provide for the assets and liabilities thereof; to repeal confl icting laws; and for other4 purposes.5 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:6 SECTION 1.7 An Act creating the Lower Chattahoochee Regional Airport Author ity, approved May 5,8 2006 (Ga. L. 2006, p. 4422), as amended, particularly by an Act approved May 28, 2010 (Ga.9 L. 2010, p. 3570) and an Act approved April 11, 2012 (Ga. L. 20 12, p. 5050), is hereby10 repealed in its entirety.11 SECTION 2.12 Any and all assets of the Lower Chattahoochee Regional Airport Authority shall devolve13 automatically and without further action to Randolph County, Ge orgia. The Board of14 Commissioners of Randolph County, Georgia, is authorized to exe cute any deeds or15 H. B. 380 - 1 - 25 LC 62 0018/AP instruments of conveyance required to place title of such assets into the name of Randolph16 County and is authorized to do so in the name of the Lower Chattahoochee Regional Airport17 Authority. The obligations of the Lower Chattahoochee Regional Airport Authority shall be18 transferred to and assumed by Randolph County, Georgia, by such instruments as may be19 required to maintain the same. The Board of Commissioners of Randolph County, Georgia,20 is authorized to execute any such instruments required to transfer such obligations into the21 name of Randolph County and is authorized to do so in the name of the Lower22 Chattahoochee Regional Airport Authority.23 SECTION 3.24 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.25 H.
