25 LC 47 3319/AP House Bill 719 (AS PASSED HOUSE AND SENATE) By: Representative Yearta of the 152nd A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To amend an Act to provide for the compensation of the chairper son and members of the1 board of education of Worth County, approved March 12, 1986 (Ga. L. 1986, p. 3710), so2 as to revise the compensation of such chairperson and board members; to provide for related3 matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:5 SECTION 1.6 An Act to provide for the compensation of the chairperson and m embers of the board of7 education of Worth County, approved March 12, 1986 (Ga. L. 1986, p. 3710), is amended8 by revising Section 1 as follows:9 "SECTION 1.10 The chairperson of the board of education of Worth County shall r e c e i v e a p e r d i e m11 of $300.00 and each member of the board shall receive a per diem of $200.00 for each day12 of attendance at meetings of the board or of meeting and travel ing inside or outside the13 state as a member of a committee of the board on official busin ess first authorized by a14 majority of the board, plus reimbursement for actual expenses n ecessarily incurred in15 H. The accounts for such service and expenses shall be submitted for16 approval to the county school superintendent."17 SECTION 2.18 This Act shall become effective on the first day of the month following the month in which19 it is approved by the Governor or in which it becomes law without such approval.20 SECTION 3.21 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.22 H.
