HR 1529: House Study Committee on the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI); create

The CCRPI is Georgia's system for scoring how well public schools, districts, and the state prepare students for college or careers, based on components like content mastery, student progress, and closing achievement gaps. This resolution does not change the CCRPI itself. Instead, it creates a six member House Study Committee, appointed by the Speaker of the House, to examine whether the content mastery, progress, and closing gaps components and their calculations accurately measure student achievement. The committee can hold meetings, study the issue, and recommend legislation if it finds problems.
