A RESOLUTION
Honoring Jackson Hogsed for winning the 2024 GHSA Class 6A Individual Cross Country State Championship; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Jackson Hogsed, a student-athlete at Lambert High School, has demonstrated outstanding endurance, dedication, and perseverance in the sport of cross country; and
WHEREAS, through his exceptional performance, Jackson Hogsed secured the title of 2024 GHSA Class 6A Boys Individual Cross Country State Champion, bringing great pride and recognition to Lambert High School and Forsyth County; and
WHEREAS, Coach James Tigue has the esteemed privilege of serving as Head Coach to the program and oversaw countless hours of training and competition to assist in the growth of Mr. Hogsed and his teammates; and
WHEREAS, his victory is a testament to his commitment to excellence, countless hours of training, and the unwavering support of his coaches, teammates, family, and school community; and
WHEREAS, his athletic achievements serve as an inspiration to his peers and a reflection of the values of hard work, sportsmanship, and determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and honor Jackson Hogsed for his exceptional accomplishment as the 2024 GHSA Class 6A Boys Individual Cross Country State Champion.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Jackson Hogsed.
