A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending the 2025 Awards of Honor recipient, Marquita Levette Wright-Davis; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Marquita Levette Wright-Davis is the owner and founder of 4D Computer Repairs, a business that provides free repair services to nonprofits and churches; and

WHEREAS, Marquita is Founder and Director of Testimony Board Ministries, and Co-Founder of AIM at Main Mentorship Program; and

WHEREAS, Marquita received a grant from the South Rome Alliance to strengthen the community through free tutoring services, which led to the establishment of the South Rome Free Tutoring Program, offering free tutoring for Rome City School students in kindergarten through 12th grade; and

WHEREAS, Marquita was recognized in 2024 by the Floyd County Board of Commissioners during Black History Month for her significant contributions to the community; and

WHEREAS, Marquita collaborates with organizations including One Community United and the Rome NAACP to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in Rome; and

WHEREAS, Marquita is a passionate community leader, activist, educator, and advocate committed to education, mentorship, and social justice; and

WHEREAS, Marquita further serves her community through her volunteerism with South Rome Community Association, Rome NAACP, A Voice for Votes, One Community United, REACH Ministries/Bloodline Believers, Healing Scars with Scarves, iFocus Mentoring Program, and Keion Harper Foundation.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize Marquita Levette Wriight-Davis for her outstanding dedication to the community, commend her as a recipient of the 2025 Heart of the Community Awards Honor Recipient, and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Marquita Levette Wright-Davis.
