A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Gloria Dubberly upon the grand occasion of her retirement; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Gloria Dubberly has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and
WHEREAS, she has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of her community and state as evidenced dramatically by her superlative service as the Tattnall County Probate Judge for over 20 years; and
WHEREAS, Gloria first served as Chief Clerk in the Probate Judge's Office in Tattnall County for ten years before running for office as Probate Judge; and
WHEREAS, outside of work, Gloria is a member of First Baptist Church of Glennville and is very committed to Dayspring Walk to Emmaus, where she has served on the Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, Gloria's significant organizational and leadership talents, remarkable patience and diplomacy, keen sense of vision, and sensitivity to the needs of the citizens of this state have earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and associates; and
WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and
WHEREAS, Gloria has served with honor and distinction in Tattnall County, and her vision and unyielding commitment to her community will be sorely missed upon the occasion of her retirement; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Gloria Dubberly for her efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia; congratulate her upon the grand occasion of her retirement; and extend the most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Gloria Dubberly.
