A RESOLUTION
Celebrating the birth of Ella Catherine Branch Tippins; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the months of anticipation and excitement shared by expectant parents are always a cherished memory; and
WHEREAS, for Chelsea McElveen Tippins and Stephen Branch Tippins, Jr., those months ended on February 11, 2025, at 9:54 A.M., when they became the proud parents of their breathtaking baby, Ella Catherine Branch Tippins; and
WHEREAS, Ella arrived into the world, much like her older sister, in the midst of session at five pounds, fourteen ounces and 18 and a half inches; and
WHEREAS, she proved a good luck charm for her father, whose bills, great bills for the great people of the great state of Georgia, thereafter made the deadline for Crossover; and
WHEREAS, the devotion, patience, and understanding that Chelsea and Stephen demonstrate daily provide the foundation and framework of love and success in which Ella will develop and flourish; and
WHEREAS, born with two older sisters who love and adore her, in addition to a wealth of family and friends who will cherish, support, and guide her through every step of her life and teach her, among other things, to love Christ, how to hit a draw, and the proper way to make an old-fashioned, "Ella Cate" will never be alone; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the birth of one of this state's newest citizens be recognized in an appropriate manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize the very happy occasion of the birth of Ella Catherine Branch Tippins and extend to her their most sincere best wishes for a long and healthy life and great happiness and success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the proud parents of Ella Catherine Branch Tippins.
