A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Betsy Harris; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Betsy Harris has served with extraordinary dedication, leadership, and distinction as the Chair of the Towns County GOP; and

WHEREAS, during her tenure as Chair, Betsy has been a tireless advocate for the values, principles, and vision of the Republican Party, always striving to strengthen the political landscape in Towns County; and

WHEREAS, Betsy's leadership has been instrumental in organizing successful events, expanding outreach efforts, and encouraging civic engagement within the community, ensuring that the voice of Towns County Republicans was heard and respected; and

WHEREAS, her work has inspired countless individuals to become more active in the political process, and her efforts have helped develop a stronger, more engaged community of voters and leaders; and

WHEREAS, Betsy's character, integrity, and unwavering commitment to service have earned her the admiration and respect of all those who have had the privilege to work with her, and her contributions have left an indelible impact on the Towns County GOP; and

WHEREAS, after many years of exemplary service, Betsy has made the well-deserved decision to retire from her role as Chair of the Towns County GOP, leaving behind a lasting legacy of dedication, leadership, and commitment to public service.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize and commend Betsy Harris for her outstanding service, leadership, and contributions to the Republican Party, the Towns County community, and the State of Georgia as well as wish her the very best as she embarks on this new chapter in her life, knowing that she has earned every opportunity to relax and enjoy the fruits of her labor, while always cherishing the memories of her many accomplishments. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Betsy Harris.
