28-1-5. Commission of members.

  1. It shall be the duty of the Secretary of State to prepare and furnish to each member of the General Assembly, after the member has taken his oath of office, a commission under the signature of the Secretary of State, containing the great seal of the state, showing that the member is a duly elected member of the General Assembly of Georgia, and showing any prior serving in either house of the General Assembly.
