28-1-6. Powers and duties of President Pro Tempore of the Senate and Speaker Pro Tempore of the House of Representatives.

  1. While presiding or in the absence of the President of the Senate, the President Pro Tempore shall have the same powers and duties as the President of the Senate. While presiding or in the absence of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Speaker Pro Tempore shall have the same powers and duties as the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
