The committee approved a Rules substitute for HR 145, a resolution urging vision and hearing screenings in schools for young students. The sponsor explained that the substitute corrected the resolution to refer to the House of Representatives rather than the General Assembly. No opposition was voiced. The chair said the committee would not set a calendar that day because the budget was scheduled to be taken up, and announced a meeting for 11 a.m. the next day to set Thursday’s calendar.

Great. Thank you, Chairman and members. Uh, on the white paper in front of you, you got HR 145. It was recommitted yesterday. Uh, it's the urging resolution for vision and hearing screening in schools for our youngest students. Um, if you'll look on line 19, we had to make a change. Uh, now therefore be it resolved by the House of Representatives. We had General Assembly there. We had to replace the words, uh, House of Representative in there.
- 0:29:28
Okay, you've heard the explanation. And do I have a motion that we approve rule substitute to House Resolution 145? That's LC 49-2792S.
- 0:29:40
So moved.
- 0:29:41
Have a motion and a second. Any opposition? Okay, it's approved. Okay.

Now, we, we will not set a calendar for today. We have the budget on the table today, and I think at 11:06, we should be able to take that up. It would've been out for 24 hours. So that's what we'll do today, and then we'll meet tomorrow at 11 so that we can set a calendar for Thursday. Anything else? Thank you all for being here.
