43-1-17. Removal from office of member of a professional licensing board.

  1. The Governor may remove from office any member of a professional licensing board for any of the following:

  2. (1)

    Inability or neglect to perform the duties required of members;#

  3. (2)

    Incompetence; or#

  4. (3)

    Dishonest conduct.#

Amendments

The 2025 amendment, effective July 1, 2026, deleted “, after notice and opportunity for hearing,” following “Governor” in the introductory paragraph.
