25-4-7.1. Appointment of executive director; employment of other personnel.

(a)
The council shall appoint and establish the compensation of an executive director who shall serve at the pleasure of the council.#
(b)
The executive director may contract for such services and employ such other professional, technical, and clerical personnel as may be necessary and convenient to carry out the purposes of this chapter.#

Amendments

The 2025 amendment, effective July 1, 2025, deleted “, in conjunction with the volunteer council,” following “The council” at the beginning of subsection (a); and deleted subsections (c) and (d).
