3-3-24.2. Posting of laws regarding sale of alcoholic beverages to underage persons.

- (a)
Each retail business establishment in this state which is licensed to sell alcoholic beverages of any kind shall post in a conspicuous place or places a notice which shall contain the provisions of the laws of this state which deal with the unlawful sale of such items to underage persons and the penalties for violating such laws.#
- (b)
The department shall prepare, print, and distribute the notices required by subsection (a) of this Code section. The notices shall contain those provisions of the law of this state which the department determines will best inform the citizens of this state of the relevant provisions of the law regarding sale of alcoholic beverages to underage persons.#
- (c)
The commissioner may take punitive action against violators, up to and including revocation of the state retail dealer’s license of any retail business establishment which fails to comply with this Code section. The undertaking of any punitive action allowed under this Code section shall not prohibit criminal prosecution for sale to underage persons.#
