HB 1423: Elections; SB 189; revise an effective date

In 2024 the Georgia General Assembly passed SB 189, a law dealing with elections and primaries. That law included a Section 7 with its own scheduled start date. This bill does not rewrite Section 7 itself; it only changes when Section 7 takes effect, resetting that date to July 1, 2027.
