A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Ebony Porter-Ike; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Ebony Porter-Ike is a highly-sought after and highly respected creator, executive producer, publicist, entrepreneur, and author in business and entertainment; and

WHEREAS, with over 15 years of experience, she is revered in the industry as the “Guru of Business” and her unique creativity, exceptional leadership, and keen sense of vision have earned her respect and admiration across the state of Georgia and globally; and

WHEREAS, Ebony Porter-Ike has made significant contributions to not only business but also art and media in the state of Georgia through her authorship of Coinology™: The Series, founding of the Coinology™ Program and Coinology™: The Podcast, as well as her creation of Ebony Eyes Entertainment through which she has executively produced groundbreaking television and film projects; and

WHEREAS, this distinguished gentlewoman has given inspiration to many through her high ideals, morals, and deep concern for her fellow citizens, and she possesses the vast wisdom which only comes through experience and the strength of character which is achieved through overcoming the many challenges of life; and

WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Ebony Porter-Ike and extend sincere best wishes for continued health, happiness, and success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Ebony Porter-Ike.
